Problems in the world

The world needs to change. There are so many problems in the world. It seems that so many people are just stupid.blind or ignorant.

So heres my quickly thought out list of things that i think need to change/or that we need.

1. Peace

2. Tolerance towards: Race, sex, homosexuals, people that are different than you.
Tolerance doenst mean complete acceptance, hell you dont even have to be friends with that person. But just dont base how you think about somebody based on a stereotype about that person.

Im not religious, i think religion is crazy. But you know what, i've learned that you cant hate somebody because of what they believe in. I used to hate people if they believed in god because i felt as thought they were holding back the human race. I want everybody to believe in whatever makes sense to them, whatever makes them happy. Atheism/Agnostic works for me, if Christianity works for somebody else, thats awsome for them. Just don't tell somebody they are stupid for believing in something. (except scientologists, they are fuckin crazy)

3. Terrorism
This is just complete idiocy. Violence is never the answer. There is always an alternative to violence.

4. War
What is the difference between war and terrorism? What justifies war? they both use violence to make a change. Both are horrible creations of mankind, and both are unjustifiable. One man's terrosist is another man's freedom fighter.

Im not saying the terrorists are justified in any way in what they do, but they are obviously angry for a reason. I doubt their religion promotes them to suicide bomb innocent children for the sake of violence. Everybody just wants happiness, and some settings in the world allow for greater actions towards that goal. (Even if those actions are horribly sick and wrong).

5. Complete seperation of church and state
Government and church should be two, seperate entities. Just because the laws of society are based on a religion, doesnt give an invitation to that religion to be a part of that government. We should be free to believe in what we want to, but we shouldnt let those beliefes influence government.

6. Appreciation that we are all brothers and sisters.
We have to stop looking at eachother as black/white/asian/etc. , male/female, gay/straight/bi, because you know what... we are all "human". Further more, we have to love nature, we have to love thought, we have to love life. We as humans, are one with nature. Its all just forces and matter, fundamentally we are the same! We are true beings of nature. (You dont have to believe that, i think thats Naturalism)

7. Greed
I dont think greed will ever go away, its a part of Human Nature. Its one of the most motivating forces that we have, but without it the world would be a nicer place. So i see greed as kind of a necessary evil. Greed is just desire.

8. Science and Technology
Face it, the sun is going to engulf the earth. The universe is going to expand so far that everything is going to lose all of its energy, and all life will cease to exist.

This may sound far fetched, but we need to find a way off of this planet before the sun expands.
We need to find a clean and renewable source of energy... otherwise we will be forced to go back to the stone age, or we'll make living conditions so bad on earth that we will kill everything.
With all of this power of technology, comes great responsiblity. We are responsible for our own survival.

This is a great link that goes into far far more depth that i would ever think of about the future of the human race regarding technology: (its a great article for anyone slightly interested in the long long term future of our race)
