Why is instant replay not instituted on every single play during NFL games?
There should be cameras on every 5 yard marker. There should be 20 cameras on each end zone.
It is absoutely absurd when the correct call is not made by the officials. We have the technology to make the games fair, we should use it. It takes so much away from the game when a game is decided by a bad call.
Of course i dont want every single play to be questioned, but on 4th and 1, or on goal line plays, they should be looked at much closer, because so much is riding on the placement of the ball.
Why not coat the ball in some sort of material that will set off a laser pointing across the end zone line. And unless the ball obviously goes in, have the lasers determine if the ball went into the endzone or not.
Each team has so much riding on every game of the season, if they deserve to win, let them win.
