Uh oh, controversy!

Sins do not exist. We are fundamentaly no different than dirt. We are made up of matter and energy. Cells, atoms, electrons, and quarks are the building blocks of what we are. The notion of good and bad cannot be derived from matter and energy. The only way to justify the concept of a sin through the idea of having a soul.

Assuming that a soul does in fact exist: Somehow a soul is a record of our actions and thoughts, it defines who we are. However, a soul is not some magical enitity within ourselves, it has to be a tangible, obersvable thing. Nothing is "magic", just because we dont understand or are not capable of understanding something, does not imply that that something exists in a magical way.

If a god does exist, we are fully capable of sitting alongside that god as equals, not as his creations. We are capable of overcoming such a god, for any god that exists has to exist in this world.

A perfect world would be a world with no such need for religion. For religion is a crutch for the weak. For those who cannot accept that we are alone on this tiny rock in a universe that is much bigger than we can possible imagine.

I do not have all the answers to life, no one does, and probaly no one ever will. But religion is not the answer. Maybe a hundred years ago it seemed like it was, but we are smarter than that now. We have to be responsible with the power we have, giving our faith and love to an abstract idea that a man exists in the sky that created and judges us is reckless. We have too much power and too much responsibility to be seduced by such ideas just because they make life seem a little less depressing.

With all that said, believe whatever you want to because you have that right. This is just what i believe.

and oh yeah i would like to give a shout out to BEN!
