Supplements (DRUGS)

So recently i've been taking supplements to supplement my weight lifting at the gym.

I worked out for all of summer 3 days a week, and then once or twice a week at school. I have made moderate gains.

Recently (last week) i started drinking whey protein shakes and taking Lecithin tablets before going to the gym, and to my surprise i have actually noticed a difference in my ability.

Usually it takes me a week to move up 5 pounds in my benchpress, but last week i moved up 5 pounds each time i went to the gym... so i moved up 10 pounds over a span of 3 days.

At first i was skeptical of taking anything, i didnt want to damage my liver over something as stupid as building muscle. But the whey protein is just amino acids that body needs anyways... and Lecithin is 100% dissolved in your body, so any excess you just pee out.

I tried doing some research on what Lecithin actually does... and apparantly it does a plethora of things. It protects against liver damage from alcohol, treats memory loss, and it prevents gallstones. So why am i taking it before i go to the gym? Because Lecithin helps facilitate the movement of fats, ions, waste, and nutrients in and out of cells. And so i guess this helps the cells multiply... by making sure the cells contain what they need, and all their waste is removed.
